The DormVault was developed because friends and neighbors were looking for a safe to use in their dorm room or apartment that wouldn't be too big, too heavy or violate the strict rules with regards to dorm or apartment furniture and walls in a college town. Our patented bracket system was developed to meet this need. By attaching the safe with a bracket, you get the added strength of the furniture or structural post. The flat surface of the bracket will not mar the furniture. When you remove it there are no holes to repair.
